You are Divine, the Divine is in all, remember that you are stardust and are connected to the Universe.
-
We are all the same, there is none that are lower than you, none that are higher. We all are born, live and die; honor the Divine Spark in all creatures.
-
Respect the world around you, both seen and unseen. Trust in your angels, guides and spiritual guardians to teach and show you the way to union with the Divine.
-
Life is a cycle and always moving; take time to quiet yourself and reflect on your world just as you take time to strive and work and be active. Both are important and a necessary cycle of life.
-
Take time to honor those in your life that help you along your path; parents, grandparents, friends, mentors, teachers, even strangers that have taught you lessons in life. Be appreciative for every gift you are given by those around you.
-
The Universe works on the law of cause and effect, every decision or step you take will have an effect whether positive, negative or neutral. Keep this in mind as you make decisions in your life and as you interact with others.
-
Be kind to one another, for all have their own struggles and heartaches and we may not know what is going on within their hearts or souls, so show gentleness and kindness even when it may not be deserved.
-
Let nature be your guide and your teacher. Cultivate mindfulness as you take time to soak in all of the wisdom and peace that nature offers you and honor Mother Earth and all she gives.
-
Surround yourself with positive, uplifting energy and always seek to raise your vibration and the vibrations of those around you. Remember that your vibration will attract the same vibrations to you, so think about what you want in life, not what you do not have.
-
Be true to your path, and to your soul’s purpose. Do not let anyone or anything stop you from walking the path that you were placed here to walk. Be courageous, and a beacon of love and light.

We Are All Connected
Assignment submission for SP 161-OL Mysticism and Universal Laws Class. This is meant to teach the universal law, “Law of Divine Oneness”.
“The waves of hatred-night can easily be dissolved in the sea of one-ness love.” – Sri Chinmoy
One of the basic Universal Laws is the Law of Divine Oneness. This teaches us that everything in this world is connected to everything around us. What we do, or say; think or feel affects our world. The Universe is made of energy, and this energy is constantly moving. Even our thoughts and feelings have motion, and move between us to others. We are all connected to one another. We are part of the Divine Energy that makes up the world. When we look at the world around us, we can see ways that we are connected to each other, and to the energy of the Universe.
As we look out across the ocean, it is hard to imagine that there are entire continents on the other side, where people are living their lives just as we live ours. Think about how the ocean connects us, the way the waves roll upon the seashore here is the same way it rolls upon the seashore across the world. Perhaps even the same water that touches this shoreline will one day touch a faraway shoreline, and someone will stand and look out over the ocean and think about us on the other side of the world.
When we take a closer look at nature, we can see certain concepts that can also be seen all around us; for everything is connected. Look at this shell, do you see how it curls and spirals? It has a very special shape called the golden spiral. In photography, this is related to the rule of thirds. Nature has given us a sacred shape that we use every day in our lives, from the photos and art on our walls, to the way websites and advertising is designed, even the way architects design houses all relates back to this golden spiral given to us by nature. Everything is connected. You and I are connected, and our thoughts and feelings, our words and our actions affect those in our lives, and around the world.
If you ever feel like you are alone, step outside at night and stare up at the stars in the sky. Remember the Law of Divine Oneness, for we are all connected, and as you stare up at the stars think about the thousands of people around the world who might be looking up at the very same star.
